WHAT IS PADEL?

Padel is not just a form of entertainment, it's a lifestyle and sharing it with friends!

Introduction

PADEL: TENNIS MIX AND SQUASHA

The standard court has dimensions of 10 × 20 m and is intended for 2 pairs. You can also play 2 people on a 6 mx 20 m training court. As in the case of tennis, the net separates the opponents’ fields, but the game takes place inside a closed court, similar to squash. The surface is covered with artificial grass and surrounded by a mesh fence. In addition, the rear walls and part of the side are built-in glass panels that take part in the game (the ball can bounce off them). The back panels are 3 m high, the side panels are 3 m high in the first two meters, and 2 m in the next two.

The surface of the racket that it bounces on is perforated (an infinite number of cylindrical holes 9-13 mm in the center. The holes cannot be located closer than 4 cm from the edge.

The racket must have a non-elastic string with max. 35 cm long, attached to the handle, which must be placed on the wrist during the game as protection against accidental accident.

Similar to a tennis ball, white and yellow balls are allowed. The diameter of the ball is 6.35 – 6.77 cm, weight 56-59.4 grams. The reflection after dropping from a height of 2.54 m onto a hard surface should be between 135 and 145 cm. The pressure inside the ball should be between 4.6 and 5.2 kg / cm2.

If the match is played at an altitude above 500 m a.s.l. a ball whose reflection parameters are between 121.92 and 135 cm can be used

The dynamics of the game gives a lot of joy and satisfaction. So it is an ideal form of active spending time with family and friends.

PROFESSIONAL GAME

Paddle tournaments only take place in the doubles game. Due to the construction of the court, the rules of the game and unusual dynamics, the game gives endless possibilities: the only limits are the players’ imagination and their physical fitness. Thanks to the ability to bounce the ball off the walls, in professional game padel requires good tactics, extraordinary dexterity and reflexes. It is even allowed to bounce the ball off the court! The best perform spectacular stunts.

TENNIS CLUBS

Improving space efficiency – more income from a smaller area.

From the point of view of sports clubs, paddle courts are an extremely interesting investment: their area is almost 3 times smaller than the surface of a tennis court, while the average price for renting a court for 1 hour is 1.5 times higher. This means that the profit from the same area is 4.5 times greater! At the same time, from the players’ point of view, the price for renting per person is lower – usually 2 people play tennis, while paddle 4. It also means that 12 people playing paddle on 3 standard courts needs the same amount of space as 2 people playing on one tennis court or 4 people – if they play doubles.

To enrich the offer, sports clubs can also, apart from standard courts, choose a training court, designed for training purposes or for playing one pair. The optimal solution that allows you to create a comprehensive offer for players is to build 2 standard courts + 1 training court.
